August 2015 Product Round-Up
It’s been a busy Summer at Egnyte as we gear up for VMworld. While we’re working on some new developments for the show, we remain focused on delivering great new features that continue to streamline business processes and enhance your overall experience. Check out some of the highlights below:Get Notified About Important ActivitiesWith the new enhancements in our message section, IT Admins can more quickly track all important activities - from new user log-in to trash, audit reports and more. IT also can easily clear all of the messages to just focus on new updates.
Eliminate the Clutter with Streamlined DeletionWhen searching keywords for files across multiple folders, you can now delete from this view to clean up the clutter. This functionality will help when trying to find multiple copies of files that are stored across numerous folders. Nothing is worse than working off of the wrong, out-dated file! Clear out the old one and just work with the new one. Don’t worry — the new feature will still keep owner file permissions to avoid accidental deletion.
This Month’s Recommended FeatureKeep Track of Your Important (or Most Used) FoldersDid you know that you can get notified about any activity within a folder that you own? Each time a file is added, removed, edited or downloaded, it will trigger a notification to be sent to you. It’s a great tool to improve collaboration and always be aware of what’s happening with essential folders.
