Egnyte in Full Force at VMworld SF 2014

It’s day two at VMworld SF, and the Egnyte team is gearing up for a full schedule of executive briefings and product demos with attendees wanting to learn more about Egnyte’s full suite of enterprise file services. Today, as you might have seen, Egnyte announced the latest version of Storage Connect, a solution that enables direct access to files stored behind the firewall without data or metadata moving to the cloud. Storage Connect 2.0 introduces cluster deployments, providing high availability and horizontal scalability to meet the privacy and security requirements of enterprise customers. We also introduced WebEdit for Storage Connect to allow customers to edit files stored behind the firewall in their native applications. We’re happy to share more details about this announcement at the event.I also have to give a shout out to our team from last night. Yesterday, we dodged, ducked, and dove on the court in EMC's annual #v0dgeball Charity Tournament 2014. Ten of our employees took to the dodgeball court with 15 other teams.
