Rising to the Top by Starting at the Bottom
I joined Egnyte back in June 2013, the same day as my PR counterpart Colin Jordan. On an upward path of growth and a pivotal time for our company, Egnyte brought on an in-house PR team to increase our awareness and prepare our company for its next phase.
Since we first walked through the doors of our old office right in the middle of the Googleplex, we closed our Series D round of funding, rebranded (who remembers the orange flame?), moved into our amazing new headquarters, opened offices in London, Spokane, and New York, brought on stellar new executive leadership, inked new partnerships, and built top-notch features and functionality into our enterprise file services solution. Through it all, Colin has spent countless hours tracking the pulse of industry trends, writing relevant messaging, and building media relationships for our company, which have paid off and really put Egnyte on the map with headline after headline.
While we are a dynamic duo (with Colin calling me his “better half” at the office), he definitely has made a huge impact on our team and Egnyte as a whole. I’m happy to share the news that his tireless efforts have been officially recognized this week with Colin being named on PR News’ Rising PR Stars 30 and Under for 2014.
Please join me in congratulating my “media genius” colleague, Colin Jordan, on his award win. He will be representing Egnyte and accepting his award at the PR News luncheon in Washington D.C. in December.
