Egnyte performs and delivers the majority of its services via its own, internal resources. Certain functions, such as storage of data, compute, database, machine learning, and networking may be outsourced to third-party cloud providers. Other ancillary services, such as sales CRM and marketing automation, require the engagement of third-party subcontractors. Some of these third parties may be identified as subprocessors of personal data under privacy laws such as GDPR. Before we engage with one of these types of subcontractors, Egnyte performs its due diligence on the subcontractor’s privacy and security practices. Egnyte also executes appropriate contractual agreements with such subcontractors to maintain compliance with applicable data protection laws.

The following table lists the primary subcontractors used by Egnyte that may in some fashion handle or process personal data of our customers, the type of service they provide, and the location where the service is performed.
